The short version

Ripplewave does not collect your data. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything the app stores stays on your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. Ripplewave has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. The only network traffic is Apple's own StoreKit talking to the App Store when you buy or restore Pro. There are no third-party SDKs, no advertising and no analytics provider.

What stays on your iPhone

• Settings — voice, haptics, sound and theme, plus the mode, duration and strength you last chose
• Custom cycle profiles — the audio settings you have customised for each stage (Speaker, USB-C) under Custom Cycles, and whether each is switched on
• Daily usage counters and the cached state of your subscription
• Recent activity — the last 20 cycles (date, mode, duration, whether it finished), in a local database with no identifiers

You can clear the activity list at any time under Settings ▸ Clear recent activity. Deleting the app removes everything.

The microphone

Ripplewave asks for exactly one permission, and only in one place: the microphone, when you tap Record 5 seconds on the Microphone Test screen. It is never requested at launch or during onboarding.

That recording is written to a temporary file on your device so you can play it back. It is deleted when you leave the screen or record again. It is never uploaded, never analysed and never seen by us.

Nothing else is requested — no camera, no location, no photos, no contacts, no notifications. Checking how you are holding the iPhone uses motion data, which needs no permission and produces no prompt.

What the app does not do

• No tracking — Ripplewave does not use App Tracking Transparency and never asks to track you
• No iCloud — the local database does not sync and the app has no iCloud entitlement
• No advertising

Purchases

Ripplewave Pro is processed by Apple through the App Store. The app receives only whether you are currently entitled to Pro — never your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Children

Ripplewave collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Everything the app stores is on your iPhone and under your control.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
