Water Assist

Help move water out of your iPhone's speakers.

Wet iPhone? Open Water Assist, choose what got wet, and follow the positioning guide. The app plays a low-frequency sequence through your speaker to help move trapped water out, checks that you are holding the iPhone the right way, and pauses by itself if you move it. Everything runs on your device — there is no account and no server. It is a tool that helps move moisture, not a repair, and it does not replace the time your iPhone needs to dry.

iPhone
/ 01 — Features

What it does.

(8) Highlights
/ 01Speaker eject — plays a generated low-frequency sequence through the loudspeaker to help move water out of the speaker mesh.
/ 02USB-C assist — combines the holding position, gravity, sound and haptics to help move trapped moisture around the connector.
/ 03Full eject — a guided run that takes you through the speaker stage and then the USB-C stage, one after the other.
/ 04Knows how you are holding it — Core Motion checks your position, waits until you are ready, and pauses the cycle by itself if the iPhone moves.
/ 05Spoken guidance — tells you what to do while the screen is face down and you cannot see it, using the voice already on your iPhone.
/ 06Adjustable strength — Gentle, Normal or Strong sets how hard the app drives the speaker, within a fixed safety limit.
/ 07Speaker and microphone checks — play a short test tone to judge whether the speaker still sounds muffled, or record a few seconds and play it back.
/ 08Drying guidance that follows Apple's — keep the connector facing down and leave it to dry; no heat, no compressed air, no rice, nothing in the port.
